A lot of ideas that can shape one's destiny are contained in many literatures.

The white believes and said that the best way to hide something important from the black is by putting it in writing. This is because they believe a black man has a poor reading culture. For us, that is unacceptable.

Most of the ideas we need to excel may never come to us; but, we can get them from other people who dropped those ideas in their books.

Hence, as the year just began, get yourself a daily devotional and one inspirational book that will help you take a step further in your walk with God or in your career.

By God's grace, I just got "Open Heavens" Daily Devotional by Pastor E. A Adeboye, for my quiet time, as it is of paramount importance to begin each day with God, this year; and,  "The Battle Plan for Prayer", which was inspired by the Christian movie, "War Room", as it will be dangerous, running the year without prayers, in the midst of many life's battles.
